ActiveMQ Getting Started

Step-by-step:

1. Download the latest stable release (Download)
   
2. Install ActiveMQ (Getting Started)
   
3. Start ActiveMQ (Getting Started)
   

Notes:

• We can run ActiveMQ as Windows service:
  1. Go to ACTIVEMQ_HOME/bin/win32
     
  2. Run InstallService.bat
     
  To remove the ActiveMQ service:
  1. Run UninstallService.bat
     
• Recommended distribution: Fuse Message Broker - based on ActiveMQ
